Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour


  • 2 apples cored and sliced


  • 4 tbsp butter


  • 4 eggs


  • 3/4 cup milk


  • 2 tbsp granulated fine sugar


  • 1 tbsp brown sugar


  • 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon powder


  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar for garnish

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400 Deg F.
  • Combine milk, sugar, eggs, 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder, vanilla extract, and salt and blend in mixie till frothy.
  • Add flour little at a time till all is used up and we'll mixed with the liquids.
  • Combine apples, brown sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon powder.
  • Heat a pan/skillet/cast iron iron pan. Add butter and let it melt.
  • Add apple mix to the pan and cook till apples soften.
  • Transfer apples to ovenproof casserole.
  • Pour the puree over the apples and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in oven for 18-20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven. Let it cool for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar all over the pancake before serving.
  • Note--- The batter along with the apples can be baked in the cast iron pan, if using, directly.
